Getting past $100k a month in revenue
Now, I am not going to sit here and pretend that you can get past $100k a month in revenue with some secret email marketing strategy.
You can’t.
At least, not just with email… but it can certainly help you get there.
I am going to caveat all of my recommendations below with two very important bullet points. To get to $100k a month, you need:
A good product
A good source of traffic
Without those two things, you are screwed. Now, if you do have those two things, we can then start talking about how email fits into that entire picture.
Step 1
Optimise your pop-ups. I am not talking about design or anything like that… note if your agency is telling you to split test pop-up form designs, they are stupid or gaslighting you into doing more work… they should already know what works.
When I say optimise, I mean get your forms in front of the right people at the right time. Honestly… just follow this strategy I created in this document here.
Step 2
Get your flows sorted.
To get past $100k a month in revenue, this is the starting point for what you need here from a flow perspective: click here. If you want to get even more complex, use this instead (this will pay off over time): click here
Step 3
Send campaigns at least once a week (twice a week if possible) to your engaged audience, splitting them into customers and non-customers. Watch this video here if you want to see what I mean: click here
That’s it… just do those three things and you are good to go.

The New Currency
Authenticity is the new currency post-AI.
On LinkedIn, I would say roughly 20% of the comments I get on my post are written by AI from ‘personal branding experts’ in an attempt to ‘strike up a conversation.’
I have cheeseballs like this dude in the screenshot here, who comment on posts of mine that talk about how AI commenting is bad, using AI, to agree with me.

People are trying to outsource the human part of creating a connection for the sake of profit, and I find it really distasteful. As time passes, I think trust and HUMAN connection will become even more valuable (which seems hard to believe because what is more valuable than human connection) than what it was before.
I am not saying there is not a place for AI, hell, I use automations to bid on jobs on Upwork, I just know that it matters to people if they know you wrote a message to them or if AI wrote that same message.
I know people read my newsletter because they know I wrote it rather than some VA or GPT chat. The more popular AI becomes, the greater the gap in the market for human-produced content.
I intend to fill that gap, at least in my field, which is growing.
I will end on this. I was on a call last week with someone who reads this newsletter (shout out to Sean), and he said:
‘It’s really good to see you speak like you do in a video call, the same way you speak in your newsletter’
It’s a small thing, but it shows the value in a human-to-human connection that too many people are quick to dismiss in exchange for ‘efficiency through AI’.
Hey, I might be wrong… but it’s working for me ;)
