I won't have a job in 3 years

AI (I know… another guy in his 20s to 30s talking about AI… kill me) is going to largely replace what I do.

We are getting to the point now where most of our copy is fully automated. I have already created a really solid internal automation for this and I will be rolling out V1 tomorrow.

It is only a matter of time before that comes for design and then strategy, at which point my role will largely be unnecessary from a sales perspective.

Why hire me if you can get copy, designs and strategy using some sort of ai?

The question is, what can I do to prepare?

How can I future-proof… my life?

Here is the thing.

Every business, regardless of what they sell, will need eyeballs. Attention is already the new currency, but in terms of what service providers can provide in the future, I honestly think its largely going to come down to attention.

How can you help me get in front of an audience that wants to buy my product?

What do I mean?

AI will replace copywriting, for example, but it will not be able to replace an audience that reads the copy.

Here is what I am doing

I am buying audiences.

In the next month, I intend to begin buying newsletters in specific industries (specifically relating to marketing). By buying these newsletters, I am essentially buying attention.

Here is my plan:

Step 1: I will buy a newsletter in the marketing niche. You can do this here.

Step 2: I will push that audience to subscribe to this newsletter, thus increasing the value and the ability to sell higher value sponsorships and bringing in more leads for my business.

Step 3: I will do the same with the other newsletter (push people from here to there), thus increasing its value.

Step 4: I will buy a third newsletter and cross-promote all of the newsletters amongst one another, thus increasing all of their values while increasing my potential deal flow.

Step 5: Rinse and repeat. From there, I can begin either repeating the process to consistently grow each of the newsletters, or I can simply sell them off again for more, having grown them and grown this newsletter.

Attention is really the only thing I think a lot of people are going to be able to sell in the future. I intend to build up my own attention network.
