My biggest month yet
Here is how my business is going
It looks like last week’s post, where I didn’t actually talk about email marketing, and instead just talked about my business and my goals… got some of the best engagement I have seen.
It also looks like, upon reflection, that I enjoyed writing that newsletter a hell of a lot more than anything else I have written in a while.
So on that, I have decided to stroke my own ego and keep talking about what I enjoy most… running a business.
Update since October
The month of October, from a revenue perspective, was the biggest one to date.
I talk about this in monthly updates on my second YouTube Channel (click here), but this month we did about $127K NZD in revenue and $57k NZD in profit.
Our biggest expense, which is to be expected, is my team.
I pay well above market rates for my guys, but I think that has allowed me to really build a solid, reliable group of people who feel motivated to work. I know money isn’t a massive motivator in the long run, but I think it does indicate how much respect you place towards those who are working for you, and I think the team feels that.
On the note of team, we have decided to bring on a new full-time copywriter as opposed to working with 3 - 4 part-time copywriters. Instead, we will have one full-time and one part-time. Just having a fixed team has really lifted a lot of the pressure off my shoulders.
My Skool Community
As far as what I am focusing on in the coming month, my biggest focus is my Skool community, which I will be launching near the end of November.
I have been on literally thousands of calls with people who need more of a coaching solution as opposed to an active management solution, and so, I have decided to create an offer for those people via my Skool community
So far, I have recorded all of the core course modules, and I am just putting the final touches on the promotion and marketing strategy I will be using to promote the community. I am thinking of pricing the group at $150 per month, which will include weekly calls with me, core educational content around email marketing, and additional paid strategies that people can unlock depending on their level.
Anyway, more to come on this… just keep your eyes open.
Tip of the week
I f***** hate the name of this section, and I will change it, but it’s all I could think of.
Today’s tIp oF thE WeeK - Follow up with 5 old leads daily
I have started doing this, where I look back at all my old leads from the past 3 years, and every day, I reach out to five of them. I started this on Thursday, and we have already started one new project.
It takes 10 minutes, and the ROI is insane.
